Three types of skin incision are used in Turkish aesthetic clinics:

• Axillary, made directly in the armpit.

Is there a risk of visible scars?

Scars correspond to the contour of the incision. Depending on the type of operation, they are located either around the areola of the breast, under the armpit or along the submammary fold.

The peri-areolar scar is the least visible, as it is camouflaged by the pigmented area which, most of the time, heals perfectly well.

The submammary scar will only be visible when you are lying on your back. Because it lies under the fold of the breast, it is invisible when you are standing up.

The axillary scar leaves no scar on the breast, as it is located under the arm. It is often discreet, but can be visible when your arms are bare.

How is breast implant surgery performed in Turkey?

Pre-operative interview with the surgeon
