What is double chin liposuction?

Double chin liposuction in Istanbul Turkey works by inserting a small tube, called a cannula, into the chin at different points. Using gentle suction, small strategic amounts of fat are removed from each location. The result is a smoother, more uniform profile with a reduced amount of fat under the chin, thus eliminating the double chin.

4 – Neck lift: There are several types of neck lift procedures. Cervicoplasty removes excess skin and platysmaplasty tightens the neck muscles to improve the contours of the neck and chin. Some surgeons often combine a traditional facelift with this procedure, which can leave the neck feeling tight for several months.

Micro liposuction of the double chin in Turkey

A local anaesthetic, adrenaline and salt water, known as tumescent fluid, are injected into the area to be treated. This liquid numbs the area and causes the targeted area or areas to swell and firm up, separating the fat cells from the surrounding tissue.

A tiny, almost invisible incision is then made and the fat is removed using microcannulas. In general, this method removes around 10 to 20 ml of fat, which is often more than enough to reduce the appearance of a double chin or submental swelling. The procedure lasts between 45 minutes and 2 hours.

A cannula is then used to move back and forth to remove the fat using a gentle suction device. The incisions are closed and bandaged, and a compression garment is worn to help reduce swelling and leakage.

The results of lipo vaser are also instantaneous, although there is a period of swelling and bruising, and it usually takes five to six weeks for the final results to appear. The results of lipo vaser are also permanent, if you maintain your ideal weight.
